Thought I saw an X tweet that said Jerry and Fruechte went to the Green Bay game together last week. Quote

We likely won’t see QB/WR being coached by one individual. Doesn’t work logistically. More likely the OC coaches a position (QB most likely), and the remaining position (WR) is coached by a new position coach. 1 Quote

Anyone with a hint of ball knowledge knew that UND needed to go a new direction offensively by the end of the season. The offense had lost its identity and rhythm. Kaminiski didn’t have the answers to the test anymore. This is a win-win; UND gets a new offensive coordinator and Fruechte gets to go to his beloved alma mater. He’s not ready yet to be a play-caller; hence why he’s going to U of MN to coach the position he played, not the one he wasn’t ready yet to coach at UND (QB/OC/on-the-field playcaller). Big opportunity for Coach Schmidt and UND football now. 6 Quote
AJS Posted January 3 Posted January 3 @UND-FB-FAN couldn’t agree more this is a win-win, but also agree with your first sentence, which is concerning he wasn’t gone weeks ago. Guess take the win however you get it. Quote
