Is it just me or is the MVFC becoming more like the old NCC where you had 3-4 good teams and the rest were mediocre to horrible?  I mean Murray St plays the role of Morningside to a T.

Kent State is ranked only better than Murray State and it's pretty close. 

Toledo is ranked roughly the same as NDSU/SDSU with Ohio not far behind.

I think one of the unrecognized high points of this season so far is our run defense. Look at Montana's rushing stats, they have put up more than 300 yards a game on every team they played except UND. This is the year to grab a rare win in the UNIDome.

Moneyline: North Dakota (-1100) vs. Northern Iowa (+600).
Total (Over/Under): 53.5 points (-110 for Over, -110 for Under).

I would be happy with this kind of victory, on the road no less.

I have also noticed how much better the twos and threes have looked when they get a chance to get on the field. Last season, the drop off in effectiveness was huge and noticeable.

Why would a conference who's media rights just got slashed add school so far out of their footprint?
They already picked up the central time zone with NIU (football only), why would they keep adding extra slices to a shrinking pie?
