ChadR Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Will Kunz be playing high school this year? Red River or Central? Quote
jjensen Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Ethan Frisch from Moorhead and Jordan Kawaguchi on campus today Quote

There were some saying in August that Heisenberg has him committed to Denver, but he isn't listed as committed there on his site now. Looks like he has been a pretty consistent scorer in the BCHL. Saw he is a cousin of former Wild player Devin Setagouchi. Quote
ChadR Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 I have heard Frisch is strongly considering UND. Is Kunz playing bantams or high school this year? Quote
siouxfan512 Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 What is the likelihood of landing bowers? I'm betting he lands in one of the Boston jerseys but we'll see. Quote

No seniors and Boeser being the only definite early departure. I count 3 forwards that have to almost be locked in coming next year in Kawaguchi, Mismash and Adams. Besides that Mattson and Keane seem like they'd be likely too. Quote

AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Poganski is pretty likely to go pro. Keane has another year of Juniors eligibility. Mattson may end up waiting another year as well. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 So what kind of player is Kawaguchi? Is he a blue chippah? Quote

Penticton, BC Keep in mind we have Schmaltz' spot from this year that went unfilled. Agreed on the locked players to come in: Adams, Mismash, Kawaguchi, and Jones. I don't see how we have room for anyone else barring a transfer. If by some magic we get Jost for another year, it complicates things more. I know the numbers all work out, but we also don't want to overcommit with players just to see them go else where when we delay them. Quote

tnt Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Perhaps the reason that they made the move on Kawaguchi is because they saw the writing on the wall for Bowers going elsewhere. I guess we'll see. Would be nice to have that problem with Bowers coming. Quote
