I have said for years that NDSU should go FBS.   Now that they have, I wish them well.  I will cheer them outside of when they play my Wyoming Cowboys. 
 

MWC is a move up.  But not even close to elite.  The hope for those programs is to knock off a SEC, Big 20, or BIG 12 program once in a while, make the playoffs (probably lose in the first round) or a bowl game.  This sounds like small potatoes to some FCS fans, but it is still a bigger deal than FCS playoffs.  Thinking otherwise is delusional 

I still cheer UND over any program, but I am realistic.

That's as made up of a theory as UND hockey players all being 25 year old Canucks.  FCS is great football and highly entertaining.  And the MWC will be as well.

Could happen, but the trailers are packed and they leave town as soon as the graduation hangover is gone.

Not now and not ever. I have said this before and I will say it again:

"I would rather walk barefoot on molten glass than cheer for NDSU in any sport."

I root against NDSU in every game in every sport. Period.

And don't kid yourself, the G6 is not much better talent-wise than the top of FCS. The gap between the G6 and P4 continues to widen over time. It is time to stop pretending that Bowling Green belongs in the same subdivision as Ohio State.

If there ever is a G6 playoff (and I think it is only a matter of time), I would have no problem with UND moving up. But until then, I don't think "looking forward" to a crappy mid-December bowl game is better than playing for a national championship.
