So in summary - Our program is a underachieving mess and we fire the coach.  Then we had a chance to go with a young up and comer to turn this program around but elected to go with a coach who has been with the program for 19 years after supposedly a bunch of players said they would leave if he wasn't hired.  We hire him and then almost all of our studs promptly leave.  You can't make this up.  We have to be the most inbred athletic program in the country.

There's no telling that Boisvert would have stayed regardless of who was coach. Maybe he felt that what was going on with the hockey program was too much of a distraction or that his offensive skills would flourish more in a run-& gun offense in Boston. No one knows for certain his motivation for leaving.

Don't want a player whose heart isn't in it. If a player doesn't want to be loyal or patient to a team in transition, then maybe it's a good thing he left.

Sounds like a country song...

Given that someone here posted back in February these players had already selected their team, it seems unlikely that there is any correlation between their departures and the firing of Berry, hiring of Jackson or any player input into that process.

Get ready for a rough ride and reduced fans!   Feels to me someone got stabbed in the back!

At some point, if there wasn’t a back stabbing, how long would the program go on being run into the ground?  Everyone else could see the program drifting into mediocrity except the administration.   Something needed to be done to wake them up to that reality.

Zach Sandy in the portal.  Could be the new Kaleb Johnson for UND.

Assuming he entered so he has a chance to actually play somewhere.

As long as the players do well in the classroom and in the community, it doesn't matter. That's the attitude of the current athletic department regime. Wins and losses are irrelevant. It is quite sad. And 100% unacceptable.

While another step back in the Pairwise would be somewhat understandable, most fans won't accept it. Jackson and staff have to be working hard to make sure a Wisconsin esque decline does not continue.

And your point is what? That you want me to shut up?

Sorry, not happening.

I mean, come on. I already beat you to that answer, because it was inevitably going to be your response.

I think you've finally passed gfhockey for the most tired/overused schtick on the board. At least he misspells different words so we know he's at least not copying and pasting everything. And his comes with some originality from time to time and the occasional informational tidbit.

We all get your stance (and then some). No need to continue to argue against points no one is making.

And yeah, no one is telling you to be quiet or accept mediocritity, because we all know you won't do that. You've made that abundantly clear. And no one is.

It ain't shtick. It's the truth.

Be careful, he might start a gofundme to get you kicked off SiouxSports.

No, I wouldn't do that. How else can the athletic department's talking points get out to the fans? Even if I don't agree with them, they should be allowed to be heard by all.

Oh my, we lost a first round draft pick after just one season. We’re doomed!
