Then we had a chance to go with a young up and comer to turn this program around but elected to go with a coach who has been with the program for 19 years after supposedly a bunch of players said they would leave if he wasn't hired. Expand There's no telling that Boisvert would have stayed regardless of who was coach. Maybe he felt that what was going on with the hockey program was too much of a distraction or that his offensive skills would flourish more in a run-& gun offense in Boston. No one knows for certain his motivation for leaving. Don't want a player whose heart isn't in it. If a player doesn't want to be loyal or patient to a team in transition, then maybe it's a good thing he left. 3 Quote

Expand Given that someone here posted back in February these players had already selected their team, it seems unlikely that there is any correlation between their departures and the firing of Berry, hiring of Jackson or any player input into that process. 4 Quote
