what has the portal given Denver...I think most of the high enders at Denver were their (Tavis and Big Boy) recrutis...maybe  2 or 3 transfers?

The REA had/has enough money for that easy, and they could have donated it to the 1883 collective.  It would have been well worth it, and justifiable, because it's an investment in their own product.

Nowhere.  They allocate some back to UND and some to the maint/improvement fund, beyond that, they save/invest it.  Unrestricted funds.

100% not an option.  There is no privy of contracts between the institutions and the player in regard to the NIL money.  This is complete and utter nonsense.  
 

The collective could sue for breach of contract to attempt to recoup the funds if allowed by the contract.  Whether or not playing a sport at a school would be permissible as an employment term would be an interesting issue.  It would be like saying your continued employment is predicated on some condition completely divorced from the actual employment, ie you must attend church on Sunday or you breach your contract.

Anyone else sick of this crap? College hockey isn't even college hockey anymore, it's a completely different sport when you aren't recruiting a kid to develop them into the best player/person they can be.  You're recruiting your commits, your recruiting other teams' players, your recruiting your own players so they don't leave. It's wild.  All of it points to a GM position like Schloss brought up with Chyzyk, a head coach can't possibly keep up with all of it and still find the time to develop a strategy to break UMD's forecheck the following week.

I can’t watch anymore - next thing will be being able to play with your transfer team in the post-season if they are still going - NCAA is ruining college sports and we all know it - probably will be in a team track suit at the FF - officially on my take his head off list - I guess a guy better cause might not want to box with him on the ice

Yeah, it's time to be done with the NCAA.  Hand it over to the colleges, and let them handle all of it.  

Unless there is a hostile and abusive nickname situation they need to play social arbitors in.
