Have a hard time imagining UND losing this series. UND sweeps. We can't put two good games together. No way we sweep. More like Omaha in 2 or 3. 1 Quote

They’d have to get so unlucky to lose this series. Just listened to the UND pod. Last Saturday was confirmed classic case of no puck luck. Won’t happen again. Quote

If we would just go by what @Oxbow6 says with wins against average and his XPTW formula we are in the top five of the pairwise. Don't let what you see on the ice fool you with the eye test. It's about more than that. 1 Quote

I predict a UNO win Friday, a UND win Saturday in a tighter defensive game…then UNO wins by 3-4 on Sunday. Quote

Wilbur Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 I think we could see a repeat of a few years ago where UND finds a way against Omaha on Sunday, and then complete let down on Friday afternoon at the X. For UND to win this series we will need TJ to be outstanding. Probably in the minority, but part of me thinks that if you win on Friday night you go with Hobie on Saturday in a nothing to lose scenario to give TJ a break and maybe just maybe Hobie plays great and you find a way to St. Paul in two games. You'll get a full fledged punch from Omaha on Saturday night and then we aren't worrying about TJ getting left out to dry as we know how our team does with back to back performances. Quote

TrueSioux2000 Posted March 13 Posted March 13 I feel like I’m being punked, or gaslit, with the quotes in the latest Schlossman article. Do the guys think we haven’t watched them all season long? “We’re ready for this” yeah ok, guy 1 Quote
Sweethockey Posted March 14 Posted March 14 UNO will win in 2. Got a bad feeling it will look like 2 games matching last Saturday night. A house of cards, don't secure a lead and fold. I would love to eat my words come Saturday night. I have about as much confidence as the team did last Saturday. 2016 I would go anywhere to watch that team play. This year I will be giving my Frozen Faceoff tickets away. I will try and sell my regional tickets and I will use my tickets for St. Louis. Always good hockey at the Frozen 4! 1 Quote

VC Sioux Fan Posted March 14 Posted March 14 What's with all the negativity on this thread? THIS IS PLAYOFF HOCKEY FOLKS! Throw out the regular season records and the horse !@#$ attitudes that have been persistent all season long. UND sweeps: 4-2 Friday, 3-1 Saturday Quote
RedFrog Posted March 14 Posted March 14 One of these teams will be motivated to do what needs to be done to improve their team game ... I think who wins tonight, gets tomorrow night too. I expect two close games, first to 4 wins each night. Fri: 4-2 Sat: 4-3 We'll see who is able to elevate their play in the necessary areas to get the job done and extend their season. I don't believe "who wants it more" will have anything to do with it. Quote
