Why is it that any time UND has a good weekend its got to be because the other team sucks.  I previous weekend UMD beat and tied AZ State.  They also split with Denver.  Not even close to being on the same level as Miami.

The unbalance schedule sucks.  All Teams should should play each other 4 times.  If that can't happen than we have too many team in the conference.  Now it is going to get worse adding St Thomas.

Exactly. Going into the Duluth series the talk was how good they were playing. Most were predicting a split.

Just 2 weeks ago, Duluth beat and tied ASU. They also split with DU in late January and swept SCSU earlier. I don't think you can compare UMD to Miami. UMD is also better than SCSU. To be fair, UMD is WAY better than Miami. UMD has some really good young players, they are just young.

Yes, I think Duluth is going to be good again very soon.  The problem is they will be our travel partner so we will have to play them 4 times every year, and our run against them is bound to end sometime.

Agreed. No. 10 Max Plante was arguably the best player on the ice for stretches of this weekend. He is very talented.

This is very close to being completely accurate.

We have a 1% chance to finish 14th in the Pairwise, .07% chance to finish 13th.

They give us a 7% chance to win our conference tournament and qualify for the Tournament and a 1% chance to play ourselves into an at large spot.

We could run the table, win our playoff series, win on Friday night in St. Paul and then lose the title game and have a 99% likelihood of not making the tournament.

Bottom line, finish the season strong and then need to be prepared to win 4 games to make the tournament.

Yuck.  I remember Sioux playing Michigan Tech last home series one year and then playing them again a week later in the quarterfinals (at home).  Was sick of playing those goons by the end.

the losses against cornell and bemidji are still the biggest reason we are in this spot. split with the beavers, and sweep an absolutley horrible cornell team, and we are 13
