Also...OMac had great hustle to track down that CC player who was going for the ENG and poke the puck away. That's about it. Hopefully Perron can go tomorrow...if not, hope it's not long-term. The point totals on this team are absurd. We have players avg .3 pts/game on our PP. Nothing makes sense anymore. .3 isn’t that good for a dman. 3 Quote

Only two championship game appearances... 😔 We're what we despised (the gophers). Sad but true. We all had such high expectations with the new Ralph. Reality is hard to face. Perhaps karma made us what we found fault in because we chided thier fans/team. Hockey gods are funny that way. 2 Quote
1972 Posted February 8 Posted February 8 25 now sits at -2 in the +/- category......below Hobie and TJ. I don't care about how many points he has...he is a DEFENSE MAN and he absolutely sucks at it. Not strong at all, can't move anybody in front of the net, and very weak on checking, or getting a guy off the puck. I miss when we actually had defense men that took pride in not allowing goals 1 Quote

Everytime you say Chaves name you must then include Armacost. Armacost runs the entire university. Chave's boss is Armacost. Fire Armacost for not firing Berry! I agree with you 100%, I was mocking those people who are always coming up with excuses and alibis for our current coaches/administrators and why we just can't do anything about it. And this applies to several other programs on campus as well. The Rutgers model is not acceptable for UND. It's time to clean house. 1 Quote

I have supported this program since I was 6 or 7 years old and I always will. But that doesn't mean I should have to be fine with the mediocrity and underachievement we have right now. Something that group doesn't understand. 1 Quote

"The game was on the line in the third period and we didn't play to our identity," Berry said. Once again, what the hell is UND's identity? Is it taking stupid penalties in a tight game knowing that our PK is horrible? Is it playing a whole 40? Oops, sorry, 60! Is it the fact that guys seem to be regressing throughout the season? Other than the jumble puzzle of line combinations, I'm not sure what the staff is doing to get the team to where they want to be. Eff it, I'm just pissed off and tired of losing to CC. Regressing! Yes, think about that, what are our best games of the season? I would say Providence and Boston University when we destroyed them the first night. So look at both of those teams since those meetings, both getting much better. Wouldn’t you think that a young team like UND would continue to get better, rather than regress. So the more the coaching staff is working with the guys, the less they use their own gifted instincts (which we know because most are drafted), and fall into a pattern that doesn’t allow for utilizing their full potential. It gets worse, once we get ahead, then they turn into robots trying to hold on. How can we blow away BU, Providence and Duluth early, then lose or play tight games with Robert Morris, Bemidji State, and Miami? Just about everyone blows away Miami. 1 Quote
MafiaMan Posted February 8 Posted February 8 My bold prediction for tonight: CC goes Karate Kid and sweeps the leg. Quote

I was just going to post the exact same thing. Berry will win just enough to keep going and Chaves won't do anything. I'm sure it won't take much because he can't afford another $450,000 on top of Bubba's $750,000. Quote
