Surprised not one NSIC gave Feeney an offer or an offer with shot at starting job.  Or we didn’t hear about it?

I would be surprised if none of them reached out to him. I’m not surprised we didn’t hear about it if they did reach out. I hope he has a good year.

St John's can be more attractive than NSIC especially if you consider students at that level are playing for enjoyment and a free education. Yes, they don't offer athletic scholarships, but surprising how many of their top athletes quality for academic scholarships. SJU is top 10 NAIA every year.

I spent a year at St John's playing (sitting on bench) for Gagliardi way back in the day.  You are correct in that they find a way to get their top athletes other scholarships since athletic scholarships are not allowed.

Youngest brother went to Concordia. He ended up getting about 70-75% of his school paid for.

Why does anyone go to NDSU and not Notre Dame? Why go to UND and not SDSU? Lots of factors go in to these decisions. Being back up QB at UND maybe doesn’t attract coaches like one may expect.
