I am hearing the new coach is not happy with much of anything on this roster.  We have been conditioned to think we had a good enough roster.  Not the case

Guessing QB is not an impressive position, along with WR group.  O-Line was as expected, above average.  RB's good.  TE group always a mystery.

D-Line probably seen as not good plus a big change with 4 man front.  I think we have some capable backers.  Corners pretty average.  Been lacking Safeties for years. All in all a small margin for error historically.

But according to our fans on here we have ALOT of solid building blocks!  No we don't.  We have some decent players and a lot of bad ones thanks to the prior staff's inability to bring the program up to date.

Agreed that there are places for improvement (significantly in some spots), but I would be interested to see how guys look after a year in a new S&C program along with a new staff with new ideas. How much of it was X's and O's and how much is Jimmy and Joes?

With a complete change in defensive scheme, there will definitely be a need to remake some parts of that side of the roster.

This one is a big loss. He averaged over 13 yds per carry, always ran hard, broke tackles. RB was probably our deepest position but he deserved more touches. I thought he would be one of our top 2 RB’s next fall. I see it as a red flag.

I think this red flag is in a different direction than you would think

I really liked Colton Brunell's film out of high school. Want to see him get some touches. Also, really like the way Romfo runs. Then the kid out of Maple Grove runs a lot like Otis did. I think RB room is plenty fine.

Hunt was buried for a reason and with the redshirting fr and the two good looking recruits coming in I would bet on him still being buried. Good luck to him.

I have heard there were reasons for him being buried and it wasn’t going to change. This is to bad he has raw talent there are other things players need to do to also to get to playing role on the team.

Actually, I am kind of execited about the RB room and one more year in the weight room for the O line.  I love a 15 play 10 minute drive 3 yards at a time staying ahead of the sticks.

Talk to any of the coaches, it was probably best for all

Defense needs to be much improved across the board at all positions. Good news it is in progress, with transfer portal and soon to be opening new weight room. As Coach Schmidt says, the work works.

DB from NAU

These guys really need to do some proofreading before sending stuff out.  "horned" to receive an offer?  Maybe that'd be a fun play on words if it was regarding the Bison, but doesn't fit the UND context.  At least it didn't say "horny"! :D

Got one

Looks like he played 8 games last year, with 13 catches for 177 yards and 3 carries for 42 yards.

EDIT:  Also had 3 KO returns for 58 yards.
