I always wished we had some sort of tradition where our best linebacker where’s 40 (Digger) or something like that. Similar in hockey with 7 passed down each class or something. I love tradition. With all due respects, the LB number would be #54. Jim LeClair. 7 Quote

There was nothing special about it back then but it was one of the few available and that's what they gave me. My username might provide a clue as to what number that was. I was in no position to request anything. Just happy to have a jersey and spot on the team at that point. 5 Quote
Parkers Pros Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Anyone else having trouble with the Defensive Preview on UND360? Coming up with an error 404 on the page? Quote

It’s another way to ramp up competition (and earn those numbers), and anyway to boost up competition is a good thing. Big things coming … Quote

AJS Posted March 18 Posted March 18 By the numbers. UND vs FCS scholarship opponents. Comparing Spring 2025 vs Fall 2024 rosters. Turnover per team. My thought would be successful teams the previous year would want low turnover. NDSU / USD for example, should be able to reload. SDSU / Montana on the other hand, a bit more of an unknown. Without getting into the weeds (impact players vs non-scholarship, ect), won't tell the entire story clearly, but thought it was interesting. School # Murray State 66 SDSU 48 Montana 43 SIU 43 YSU 41 Indiana State 39 Portland State 32 NDSU 30 UNI 29 UND 28 USD 24 3 Quote

What positions are they a bit bloated? Where do they need to add? I'm hoping we see +/- 7. Position Count OL 18 DB 13 DL 12 WR 12 LB 8 RB 5 NI 4 QB 4 TE 3 K 2 LS 2 P/K 2 FB/TE 1 P 1 Quote

We may need more of both and may lose some of them after spring ball. Same with LB may have some change after spring. Quote

Back track some more Most is a little far, but decisions do get made early and certain players will get more opportunity than others. Obviously these are different coaches, but I saw this up close back in the day so I know it happens. Quote

Spring ball is a huge tryout for a bunch of guys. Some dudes need to show huge progression to stick around. Quote
