Hopefully the culture and philosophy of UND athletics will positively change soon, also … I think a book could be written about it. It’s been a crazy last 5-10 years for UND athletics. 1 Quote

I think with same OC and experience he stays and gets the 2nd nod. Scholarship or not there really is no where for anyone on the bubble to go. A few players have left the team the past few weeks that were on scholarship so it does make room for transfers. Someone on here or somewhere did the scholarship math a while ago. Quote

Johnson is coming in for one reason and one spot at QB1. Last year sure was odd to watch. I think Simon is two or 3 at the lowest if healthy. I can see Higgins being in the mix if he stays at QB. AJS Posted March 15 Posted March 15 @MinnDak anyone leave the last few weeks that would have been an impact player this year? 1 Quote

UND1983 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I know it’s taboo to talk badly about Moorhead but those guys have been busts for most part. Certainly no high enders of the bunch 1 Quote

AJS Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Didn’t notice at the time, but Teiken wasn’t mentioned in the 360 preview either. I will say, better before Spring ball. Any other big names? Teiken going to portal out? Done with football? @MinnDak you did say before that you didn’t expect any other starters / close to starters to leave. Clearly, you meant from the spring roster (which a guy like Teiken wouldn’t be on)? Quote

Clearly, you meant from the spring roster (which a guy like Teiken wouldn’t be on)? Teiken was the main one and couple others left. He was the only close to starter I believe. There isn’t much being said after them. Just with the current landscape in football it would be unlikely any of the 1-2 deep finding a new home unless more transfers are brought in on D and scholarships are cut and a player doesn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. The roster is plenty big but most spots aren’t super deep and anyone that’s a backup is only one injury away. 2 Quote

I always wished we had some sort of tradition where our best linebacker where’s 40 (Digger) or something like that. Similar in hockey with 7 passed down each class or something. I love tradition. With all due respects, the LB number would be #54. Jim LeClair. 6 Quote

There was nothing special about it back then but it was one of the few available and that's what they gave me. My username might provide a clue as to what number that was. I was in no position to request anything. Just happy to have a jersey and spot on the team at that point. 4 Quote
Parkers Pros Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Anyone else having trouble with the Defensive Preview on UND360? Coming up with an error 404 on the page? Quote
