Enough said - their qb is a runner, leads the team in rushing and he’s bigger than the Youngstowns qb. Unds defense is charming soft. Bad results to a bad team. -we have bubba Enough said Last year und had to kick a Fg with :00 to extend the game into OT against a horrible 1-11 team. It was the only time that Indiana st scored 30 points on the season. Indiana states only win last year was against 0-11 western Illinois. They were a second away from a two win season in the confines of the alerus. Indiana st is a bad team, much like last year …..but und still has bubba. Bubba has the uncanny ability to make low end teams look like a Tom Brady led New England patriots team. There is absolutely no chance that the road woes will stop now. But can they squeak by a horrible team on Saturday? Don’t bet your best tie on it. This year ….Indiana st (3-5) has scored 30 points or more just once against a 1-6 Murray st that gives 40 points/game. I believe they get their second on Saturday. Sadly I see 34-38 Indiana st victory as where this should be an absolute ass whooping by und in the 48-10 range. But we have bubba and beating a three win team is asking a little too much. Bubba is occasionally ok at beating the zero, one or two win teams in their stadiums. But a three win team ……? Wrote this on Monday. Bubba lead teams are so easy to predict. Most frustrating rinse and repeat program in the nation. It’s laughable at this point. Quote
Hans8891 Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Maybe this is the catalyst to actual change in this program. If Chaves is really accepting of this as expectations for this program, he needs to find a new career. I am very happy with what Isaac has been able to do with his side of the ball. We lost our entire offensive line, had no idea what was going to happen with quarterbacks, and he made it happen for the most part with offense in a difficult situation for returning players. Our “defensive minded” head coach and his in program protege did not lose everyone in the portal but managed to give up more yards and points every week. By the end of the year, we should be able to give up 60 - and we will still be playing the same schemes. And the press conference after the loss will contain the same platitudes we have grown accustomed to. The notion of insanity has been defined as doing something over and over again and expecting different results. Welcome to UND football insanity. Quote

New facilities, and with the MVFC and FCS in the state it is right now it wouldn’t take that long with the right guy. Hell, Bubba took over Mussman’s dumpster fire and made the playoffs in year 3, and got snubbed in year 2. 1 2 Quote
Oxbow6 Posted November 2 Posted November 2 When you lose as a double digit favorite do he switch to the Dougie? Quote
Midwestern Hawk Posted November 2 Posted November 2 With the right coach his team has 2 losses maximum. 3 Quote
Popular Post Feff Posted November 2 Popular Post Posted November 2 With the right coaching staff this team wouldn't be starting a back-up QB for the entire year. The defense would be capable of tackling, and they wouldn't underperform in every single road game. 1 5 Quote

Shawn-O Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Chaves on contract through June 30, 2026. Kyle on contract through 2027 season. We are stuck with two more seasons of this. 1 Quote

FSSD Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Simple Mistakes across the board - offense, Defense and special teams: 1) Pic 6 2) Loss of containment on 40 yrd TD run - player was untouched 3) Dropped punt Quote

Don't start with pick 6, catch a punt, probably a UND W in a close one. 1 Quote

UND is a top 10 FCS program now based on facilities. If there is competent leadership, that can institute a winning, accountable culture, I think the turnaround would be quite quick. Remember, the transfer portal can quicken this also. 4 Quote
