I don’t know how it’s possible to have lights out goalie play for this many tournament games in a row.  It’s absolutely crazy.

My guess is that ESPN sets these times. And it’s the right call. Penn State is a known national commodity and I would guess their fans will travel. Good optics for college hockey.

Remember "The Alliance" back a few years?   Maybe it was over on USCHO, hockey side.   BC and UMinn.   A lot to despise.

I watched that game last night, and the post-game festivities, and I suddenly realized something.  Even after all these years, it never gets old to see a kid, wearing a BC uniform, standing on the ice crying his eyes out.

Man did Davis look horrible in that UNLV game.

They showed his tourney stats on espn yesterday and I can’t quote them with 100% accuracy but let’s just say they were mind boggling. Something like a .94 or .96% save percentage and like a 1.something save percentage. Just sick numbers.

Maybe it's time for a change at Hockey Ops and make it more of a GM role
