Its not like Tommy can't run a bit either. We saw him do it last year and take it when it was there. Seems like his mental game has regressed a bit.

I'm not going to hate on Tommy like some people on here, he has done some tremendous things during his time, but has clearly displayed his limitations as well. I'm all for him moving on and seeing what our next QBs up can do with their opportunities.

Though it is funny how many teams with productive QBs complain about them. There have been complaints about Bouman and certainly around Cam Mattress Miller. So it isn't just UND.

All of this being said, if Feeney or Jerry don't get it done, we will all be eating some crow in the next few seasons. I think there is some talent there though. Any if not, maybe some of our fans can watch the game, sitting on their bike, from the catwalk. Might be a good luck charm.

I don’t know the finer points of the game…listened on the radio because those guys are awesome. Do I think we could have won? YES

Is there really, really a need to offensive comments like bipolar and University of the Blind? No one in my circle of family and friends have either, by the grace of God. 

I think GF, UND, and Sioux staff and fans are classier than stooping to that. Apologies accepted and let’s move on.

It’s behind baseball and soccer and maybe golf and boxing/UFC though, and that’s referring to NHL pro hockey, not NCAA 60 teams or so at the DI level hockey.  FCS football gets equal or better rankings than college hockey. Just typing some facts.  Not sure what point is but facts are facts.  I will be watching UND vs UMD tonight and cheering. However, I am realistic about where the sport that is king in a small market near Canada ranks nationally.

And we kept it damn close having only scored 14. Any miniscule showing of offense would have gotten the job done today. 

Would have also helped to be able to hold a team on 2nd or 3rd and a mile. It is unbelievable how bad that looks. That being said, the defense did plenty of other great things. INT in the end zone was nice and the forced fumble was a thing of beauty. Just hope some of these talented players don't transfer out because of incompetence in the staff. I don't say that lightly, but you can't help but question coaches costing us games. It has happened a few too many times in the past few seasons.

Absolutely. Not touting it as being the most popular, just making the argument that the majority of the country doesn't "hate it". And even so, college hockey may have a smaller market, but the fans that watch still like it. If he doesn't care for it, nobody is forcing him to watch it. He can shut up and be miserable over the football loss.

I’m not the one who initially brought up hockey when UND football lost today’s game, but good try. 

Hockey hasn’t won much the past few seasons either.

this loss sucks because of all the points we left on the field and because we should have won this game but the season isn’t over. Still can make the playoffs and get some wins . Seed would’ve been nice but we would all still be pissed if we lose our first game in the playoffs.

Also recognized that someone may bring up hockey because they want to see a team that wins. UND has definitely had some down years with hockey, but I don't think you even want to compare program success; even in the past ten years. Besides you don't need to like hockey, you also don't need to bash on it in a football thread.
