Popular Post F'n Hawks Posted July 27 Popular Post Posted July 27 The coaches have now moved into their new offices. In around 6 months, the weight room and locker room will be ready. Getting really close to everything being finished for the football program. 5 Quote

When Nodak Insurance Company Sports Performance Center is complete as well, then everything will finally be in place for UND football. Took 15+ years, but UND football is finally supported like a division I program. Hopefully unprecedented success follows… 4 Quote

nodak651 Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Really wish our coaches would have given the backups more opportunities, when possible. Was not playing the backups in blowouts more of a Freund decision or Bubba decision? For example, in UND's 49-10 win over WIU, Feeney didn't play until halfway through the 4th quarter? Would have been nice if he had some additional game reps.. Quote
Sioux>Bison Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Caden Dennis should have a big season this year. Less people to share snaps with hopefully give him a bigger opportunity to show what he can do! And take pressure off Belquist! Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Uphill yes I agree what is with so few upper class men on the team. We might be the boys against men to a degree Quote

To some extent, yes, but how many key players transferred from NDSU, SDSU, USD this offseason? Two from NDSU, were there any from the South Dakota schools? Without the Coaching changes at UND you see two less key players and the outlook is completely different. Take out the 5th year transfers now, and it'll be even less. I don't think it's unrealistic to think that schools like the Montana / Dakota's who are investing in Athletics can keep the "key" player losses to 3 or less each year. Some years you might see more, some less. Quote
