Landry hire provides some optimism. But plenty of concern given Schwenzfeier’s defense and Bubba’s lack of leadership and “it” factor with this generation of college football players. We will see if 2024 is any different, but schedule is tough, and extending the status quo if there aren’t major improvements (winning playoff games) would be blasphemy in my opinion. 
 

With that said, I hope Bubba goes 12-0 (and doesn’t go one and done in playoffs) and shuts the doubters up (including myself) in 2024.

Andrew McElroy but he was in the TP for about .5 seconds before NIU snatched him up. Our game against USD was an open tryout for a LB named Jonathan Bunce apparently. Lol. Seth Bullard was an ILB that transferred to SFA. Shawn Shipman landed at WIU. Anyone UND would want is already spoken for, it seems.

Are any true frosh going to have the RS lifted?

Why was Rucker’s RS lifted? Played well but not a true difference maker. IMO

To answer your last question, he played about as well as one could expect.  Best fit we had at that position.  Needs to get a lot better and it likely starts with his experience.

Massey had UND as #26 defense in FCS (7th in MVFC in defense). 

Can they improve that to top 15 FCS and top third of MVFC.

Don’t think we will see any, if you want to leave it’s better to do it earlier so you can have spring ball with your new team. Only person would be somebody like Bo, but I’m going to be optimistic and say he stays.
