At this point Scheel needs to be done for awhile, not a period.  He has lost it and is hurting more than helping

This. Shut him down for a few weeks.

Get the F outta here with the pull scheels bull !@#$,  how about the D stop looking around and pick a damn guy up. Sick of all the bashing on this damn site.  Smith is just out there on that play in no man's land.

Did you see where that shot came from?
There wasn't a screen either.

He hasn’t been the same since Christmas break, something is wrong with him

Scheel looks slow.

Agree. It looks like he is struggling to go side to side compared to before the break. I'd be shocked if he is 100% healthy.

Duluth goalie has given up one less goal so far and you guys calling out Scheel.

Not sure I’m following where you’re going with this theory...

Deflected, but still.  He should have held the puck, instead of playing.  He’s lost this game.  Thome the rest of the way.

Disagree... he may have let in some, but has also made some stellar saves tonight. UMD has had some great opportunities and is a good team.

scheel has had some bad night, but tonight is not one of them. More on the D, with poor turnover and not locking up their guys. Pretty much every Duluth goal I have seen, I’ve said, wow, great goal.

Scheel is brutal right now. His angles are poor and he’s playing with no confidence and I’m being kind.

And he goes on the sojourns after the puck....

What about the fact that UND looks like a slow, unskilled team right now?  Yes, Scheel has not been good, but what the hell with the skaters?

Interesting period.  Start out strong only to melt. Goaltending hasn’t been good and defensive zone coverage has been worse. Dumb penalties cost us. For some reason our big guns disappear for large stretches of games recently.

If Thome come out to start the 3rd Scheel's save % since the break is roughly around .820-.830
