JohnboyND7 Posted September 23, 2020 Posted September 23, 2020 Not to get ahead of myself...but the Jamestown F'ing Blue Jay's are 3-0 in football for the first time in probably decades and beat a Bismarck team for the first time i think since my family moved to Jamestown. Happy for them, when I was in school we mostly existed for the sole purpose of getting stomped. Quote

It didn't really matter who BHS had at RB against us, they were going to get many yards. I do know one of our guys chased him down from behind which I didn't know was possible until I saw it happen lol. Ryan Smith has haunted my dreams significantly more. Wahpeton was trash and he single-handedly beat us one year. I think he had around 400 yards rushing that night. It was very embarrassing. I would like to see the tape of those games again just to see if it was as bad as I remember or if it was somehow worse. Quote

I remember watching a game against Jamestown that was an absolute track meet. The Jays were up huge early then the second half he was just unreal. You can't tackle what you can't catch. I remember having a conversation with him in my classroom about where he was going to go to play his college ball. I couldn't even try and push UND because it was in the middle of the transition. NDSU hadn't started their D1 dominance yet, but started his Soph year. Quote
