If it makes you feel better I live in Cincy and can tell you that Skyline isn’t adored by everyone. If you were raised here you are more inclined to like it, but if you move here from somewhere else it’s either a hit or miss. So you probably didn’t miss out on anything too important.

Was Rod Carey with them? Shorter trip from Indiana than to GF and remains under the radar.

He gets $815,000 from Indiana through the end of 2025. Those buyouts usually are reduced by any amount the guy gets with a new job.  I don’t think he would come to FCS program, but there have been  rumors, and it would give him a chance to get back into coaching with a HC position. His Temple job and Indiana OC jobs didn’t work out. He could use a “reboot”.

The one thing we all agree on is the timeline. The press conference can happen Monday, but the announcement has to happen at the latest tomorrow. The key being the new coach is present to meet the team sometime tomorrow, prior to portal opening Monday.

My thoughts exactly.  Quite a few touch and go's from UND pilots on the weekends.  Mission Impossible 8 might be based upon our hiring process.  The mystery/secrets of hiring a HC for a declining program in FBS has no boundaries.
