UND-FB-FAN Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Have to recruit players that are happy to be at UND and have pride in UND. Geno required a lot of guidance (above average) while at UND and now he leaves UND after the staff's investment. This makes it difficult to thank him for his time at UND. If only I had faith that Jones could replace him and build a better team ... (hint: I do not) Quote
CMSioux Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 Very disappointing, I support all of our student athletes with my time and money. They need to make life choices but to me this is a reflection on his charactor. Definitely not in same league as Q. Quote

UNDBIZ Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 UND athletics still providing him with a "tutor" as he tries to complete 19 credits this summer? Or perhaps the gophers or Zags are taking care of it... 2 Quote
gfhockey Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Jones says his playas Just ball they are made to ball Quote
sprig Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 He kind of threw the staff under the bus in his wdaz comments tonight. Staff going in a different direction than he wanted, resulting in a wedge between him and the staff, so felt it was best to leave Quote
gfhockey Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Only one left on staff isn’t there? Most staff heading out in directions other then betty! Quote
UND1983 Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 It'll be addition by subtraction with him. Said before and I stand by that. 1 Quote

UNDBIZ Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Trying to think of things that "shifted" in the past year. Conference, coaching staff (all new assistants), and Adidas could all be factors. Or he just wants to go where the grass is greener.... Quote

gfhockey Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Adidas is the main culprit. Wait for the fall out on this one lol Quote
TheFlop Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 With Geno gone the handful of people that follow this team might as well close this thread and fire up the 2019-2020 thread. Quote
