HAWKS1 Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 1 Question - How can Geno start at Gonzaga in Oct. if he is still enrolled at UND. Won't graduate UND until Dec.??? Quote
UND1983 Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 In that podcast Geno called himself a "leader". Quote
Dagger Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 If you ever wondered if athletes read the chat lines. Geno apparently spent a lot time reading them. Maybe he should of spent more time studying or trying to be a better team player. He apparently didn’t think he had enough talent on the team around for him to be successful. He was all about himself. See you later. 1 Quote
Risky Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 I wouldn’t be surprised that we will have a better year this year than last year without Crandall 2 Quote
Siouxphan27 Posted September 17, 2018 Posted September 17, 2018 I look forward to the day he dons a McDonalds visor and wonders to himself where it all went wrong. 2 Quote

SiouxVolley Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 What’s with the schedule delay? Is it because Mayville and Valley City are having trouble with their dates? Practically all DI schools have their schedules published. Quote

SIOUXFAN97 Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 after seeing this schedule i'm fully convinced that having und play 10 money games on the road against p5 teams (and maybe winning a couple) would be better than this garbage we get year in and year out. Quote
jdub27 Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Two decent D1 non-conference home games. Guessing we'll see some sort of return from Utah Valley, Montana State and/or UT Rio. Quote

Guessing we'll see some sort of return from Utah Valley, Montana State and/or UT Rio. Contractually, have to go to Ut Valley because of our home game last year. UTRGV is part of the WAC/Summit challenge, which will go on. UTRGV may not have to schedule in GF, but the WAC will. Montana St and Idaho are part of the limited (four teams each) Big Sky/Summit challenge. Montana and E Wash may be substitituted next year. Quote

SiouxVolley Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 An article on scheduling buy games. https://www.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/index.ssf/2018/10/syracuse_pays_basketball_opponents_to_hopefully_lose_how_buy_games_work.html Getting $100k is about the max. Many mid majors have buy games if they have a big gate or TV contract. $65 k is about the bottom for a buy game. Quote
