SiouxFan100 Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Down 21-15 end of 1 st qtr to Lamar. We have 11 1st qtr turnovers and are still within six. Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 We are still committing a turnover a minute into the 2nd qtr. down 8 Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Down 42-29 half. We have an astonishing 21 turnovers. Everyone turning it over but freije and franklin are leading with four a piece Lamar must be pretty quick Quote
MoSiouxFan Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 73-70 UND. Final. "Only" 9 TO's and 2 fouls in the 2nd half. Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 We win. I was out and about the 2nd half. Great news. Lamar was picked to win their conference Quote
UNDMOORHEAD Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 30 turnovers for the game and still win. I'm not a basketball guy, but I'm assuming that doesn't happen very often. You got to be impressed with the comeback after a bad first half though. 1 Quote
UND Fan Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 We beat UTSA this afternoon 60-47 but Coach Brew probably isn't too pleased with the performance. We were outscored by 7 in the 2nd half, had another 20 TOs, shot 37% FG & 58% FT. Quote
RogerRoger12 Posted November 27, 2017 Posted November 27, 2017 Ladies up to 118 in the RPI Rankings - went up 52 spots after their two wins down in San Antonio! Northern Iowa comes to town Saturday, BIG BIG game! Hopefully we can get into the top 100 with a win. Quote
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 SDSU just beat UNI 57-47 , UNI being our next opponent. 12/2/2017 Northern Iowa Grand Forks, N.D. 2 p.m. CT Quote

Teeder11 Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Would love for FD to be a tenacious rebounder inside and someone with the ability to alter shots and get easy finishes this season as she works herself back into a basketball mindset and works on her shot. This year could be fun, but losing only Franklin, next year, could be special, depending on how strong USD and SDSU are. Quote

I remember watching FD play in the State B tournament and was excited to hear she had signed to play at UND. Later found out it was for VB and said damn her size and reach would be great in BB. Well now we have her for the remained of this season and next. Awesome Quote
RogerRoger12 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 At Baylor tomorrow - WOW - that’s the equivalent of our men going to Duke to play! Perennial national title contenders/top 10 team every year, Should be an incredible challenge for Brews crew, I don’t think this game should be measured in win or lose, more just competing and see what happens! With that said it’s bison week, lets get to that game Saturday at the Betty. Hopefully FD will be ready to roll, that’d be fun! RPI Update http://realtimerpi.com/college_Women_basketball_rpi_Full.html - North Dakota - 99 http://www.warrennolan.com/basketballw/2018/index - North Dakota - 92 Win or lose tomorrow, Baylor game will help our RPI because they are such a strong opponent. The more wins they get as the season goes on, the more UND’s RPI rises down the road. Quote
No1siouxfan Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Heard today that FD will not be traveling to Baylor, but will be dressing for NDSU on Saturday. Quote
gfhockey Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Was listening to kfan today and Justin gaard was telling a story about how Lindsay Whalen actually committed to Und first but then got stuck in a blizzard Up here and changed her mind lol Quote

Nodak78 Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 I just noticed the women's game against Baylor in on college sports live. I get this with my Roku. Looks like pregame is on at 6:30 Quote
darell1976 Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 UND got stomped by Baylor 105-43. Shake it off, and blow out the Bison. Quote
Jerry Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Not sure why some of the starters only played 18 - 20 minutes. Klabo had 20 minutes and Fallon 18 minutes. Coach said in the post game some players are battling injuries which may explain the minutes. Quote
RogerRoger12 Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Yikes, tough game, but the loss comes to a great great program in Baylor(I think they have been to the Elite 8 like 6 or 7 times straight). My guess is brew was saving them for Saturday, why blow their legs out when they’re down 40 or 50pts. Regardless, Can’t wait to be at Betty vs NDS WHO!! Quote
coachdags Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 I guess there are different levels of Division 1...... Quote
