I disagree, If Big Sky football was a joke, Weber would have lost today.....but they didn't. They beat a MVFC member and held them to less than 20 points.  Only North Dakota State has done that this year btw...

 

While I agree NAU didn't deserve a playoff spot saying San Diego would win the Big Sky every year is a joke.  They have a good team and program, but lets not forget, Big Sky UC Davis beat that same San Diego team 35-7 earlier this year and Both Weber and SUU smoked UC Davis.

They're in the Big Sky ... that's how. They played a lot of poor teams.

Congrats on the win. Western Illinois had a good team this season. I think Weber State and SUU are by far the two best teams in the Big Sky Conference this season (as evidenced here in the postseason).

But they lost to Montana and didn’t play EWU.  Thats the barometer that your not good right?

Frustrating to watch a conference foe get dismantled by a pioneer team. To potentially lose is one thing ( bad enough ) but to get blown out!?!  Emberssing!

 It has become a perennial occurrence that Big sky teams end the season weak.  Is that do to the physicality?   100% !   The playoffs expose the finesse nature of big sky teams.  Big sky teams are weak in the trenches. This hits my nerve the most .....watching UND get dismantled or dominated by big sky teams this year and not being able to dominate.   Fwiw ...UND only played one playoff big sky team this year. 

 I have stated numerous times that offensively UND should absolutely dominate these weak crap year in and year out....pioneer teams dominate it...why can't UND!? 

As much as I can't stand the constant rah rah about the mvfc from the team to south ....UND is so not ready for weekly mvfc play.

Cal Poly and NAU probably thought they would have a cake walk with San Diego.  The Bizon's get a break again.

Most posters also thought an MVFC power school like South Dakota would blow out Nicholls St, which had a weak schedule, but Nicholls almost took down the MVFC.

UND has two seasons to get ready for the MVFC. Best make the most of it. Defense and a multifaceted offense are a basic beginning.

NAU beat Sacramento State, UC Davis, and Montana State.

All three teams UND looked like !@#$ against. 

So maybe you're right ...

UND lost to both Montana and EWU, does that count for something in your world?

USD has a good squad this year. 45-7 dismantling suggests that. 

Meamwhile, Bubba and UND are trying to "ease" on in their freshmen who just "aren't quite ready yet". 

I don't enjoy playing devil's advocate, but it's needed some around here some. UND football is currently not deserving of excessive praise.

Who is praising the UND football team right now? Your constant whining and portrayal of yourself as the only disappointed fan is getting old.

Looking at FCS Football Wikipedia page UND is 13th all time in winning percentage 614. 641-397-30 overall record. Has UND ever had a year with this amount of injuries.UND Is a very unique school.

Huh?  So if you never lead in a game it means it wasn't a close/even game?  Wasn't Nicholls St 1 fumble away on the 1 yard line from tying the game with less than a minute.  What game were you watching/referring to?   He said Nicholls St almost took down MVFC (SD), which is spot on.

Your dislike for the superior MVFC relative to the BSC makes you quite irritable. 

I wouldn't expect different from someone who "hates everyone in UND's new conference".

It's okay to be biased and favor UND as I certainly fit into that category as well; however, every once and awhile you have to call a spade a spade.
