jodcon Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Well this has turned into an adventure Quote
Wilbur Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 I think the third base coach made the right call there holding him up. I think he is out by 10 feet.... Walk of HBP???? 1 Quote

Wilbur Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 I don't think I've ever seen a walk off HBP for thr Twins.... Quote

Siouxperman8 Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Big win for the Twins. Down 1 in 11th and 2 in 12th and pull it out with a walk off HBP. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Arraez with six plate appearances. Three hits and a walk. On base four out of six times..... Twins give up 20 hits.....and win? Quote
The Sicatoka Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 I gave up at 8-6 and went to bed. I turned on the radio to hear the weather. Seems I missed something. Quote

Rocco did his best to give the Sox a meaningful win without Giolito. The Law firm of Cruz, Rosario, Gonzales, and Arraez had other ideas. Quote
sioux rube Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Watched till the end. Magic number down to 7 Quote

Oakland has quietly been playing some really good ball lately. Tampa Bay's remaining schedule is the toughest of the group by far. I don't see how they survive it unless Cleveland really falls apart. jodcon Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 SOX working the bullpen committee pitching scam tonight...working too. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Detroit is never going to beat Cleveland are they? Quote
jodcon Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Didn't really need that 9th inning homer put on the board Hawk. Quote
jodcon Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Pretty tough to beat the old 3-hitter by 8 pitchers. Gave one back tonight. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Don't hit, we lose.....yup. Castro has me baffled at times with his pitch calling. It baffles me that you have Graterol in the game, who obviously has a great fastball and Collins fouls it off twice in his at bat. Then instead of burying a slider or busting him off the plate with a fastball a foot inside you have him throw of all pitches....the changeup.....his third best pitch, in a tight game, with an 0-2 count. Wilbur Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 There are no excuses for the Twins. They have to win seven of ten against the Royals and Tigers. If for some reason they don't win the Central at this point it's a Vikings like collapse. If the season ended today the Twins are on the road in the playoffs at Yankee stadium. They are better on the road, but we've seen the Yankees broken record numerous times. Quote
UNDBIZ Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Looks like they're trying to make things interesting down the stretch. Quote
