SiouxFan100 Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 Up 5 1/5 games May 19th Buxton with a grand slam last night looking good Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I'm almost ready to jump in with both feet with this team. Think there is a key 9 game stretch in the last week of May/first week of June with Brewers, Rays, and Indians. If they do well, that might be enough for me to say: Okay, this team is going to do something. Might be time to start looking at some reliever to trade for to add another weapon to the pen. Quote
sioux rube Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 The Twins became the first team in the history of major league baseball to have five games with five or more home runs before June 1. Quote

And they lead the league in homers and slugging percentage, and second in batting average. Plus now they head to LAA, where the pitchers are 6th worst in Home Runs Allowed. They're nowhere near as bad as Baltimore or Seattle, but it's still a setup for another 5+ homer game. Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Wth tonight’s game is about to start and the Twins have ZERO home runs so far! Quote
jodcon Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Bronx Bombers reborn. Except against the real Bronx Bombers, Seventh Street Single hitters there. 1 Quote

Frozen4sioux Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 When does MLB switch out the baseballs to the nonjuiced versions? Mid June? before the all star game id say. Quote
