Ray77 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 AP already has a lot of money - maybe it's worth it to him to have a shot at a Super Bowl appearance ? If that's the case, then he wouldn't want to go to the Cowboys. Quote
nosidel Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 AP already has a lot of money - maybe it's worth it to him to have a shot at a Super Bowl appearance ? The Vikings have quietly assembled one the youngest and fastest teams in the league. Their speed in the defensive backfield is amazing. Zimmer is building a very good team. IMO, with AD the Vikings are far more likely to win a Super Bowl in the next few years than the Cowboys. 2 1 Quote

Mike Wallace? No thanks. Old running back? No thanks. Playing in Minnesota? No thanks. Cowboys probably aren't either. Tony? Old and running out of time. Jerry Jones? No thanks. Quote

jodcon Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Call his bluff and let him retire with his legacy as a child beater. No way he is walking away. Exactly. I would love to play poker with him and his dipsh^t agent, they are totally clueless. Quote

I agree, it's AP's fault not anyone else's. I guess the Vikes called his bluff and he is going all in... As the GM of the Vikings, do you let him retire or do you trade him away and get something in return? Quote

jdub27 Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Zimmer drops the hammer: "Adrian really has two choices: He can either play for us or he cannot play," Zimmer told reporters on Wednesday, via the NFL Network. "He's not going to play for anyone else, that's just the way it's going to be." Quote
siouxkid12 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 this is becoming a big mess...i know zimmer is dropping the hammer hard but does that hurt the Vikes later on in the season when things aren't going AP way? the vikes have had this happen before (moss, harvin) and i could see it happen again. Quote
Fetch Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 At this point I wish Dallas got him & he does to them what Hershal Walker did to the Vikes Quote

MUCH different people/players. All things considered, AP has never been known as a Prima Donna. I see nothing wrong with the way the Vikes are handling it. AP will play week 1 and play well and this is coming from a Giants fan. Quote
ScottM Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Trade him to Cleveland and the Browns can feature the "Head Case Twins" in the backfield. Quote
homer Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Someone needs to explain to Adrian that his contract is two sided, he's getting paid what he agreed on when he signed the contract. His agent is making him look like a fool. Quote
