But, we can't prevent every accident. There was a stop sign at the crossing that apparently was disregarded. Praying for rapid healings of bodies and souls and spirits. Prayers for all involved, all of the injured students and their families, and for the student and driver that lost their lives and their families. It will be hard and take a lot of time, but hopefully all can forgive and get through this tragedy. Maybe crossing arms at all rural railroad crossing would be too expensive, but how about a solar powered flashing sign or light when a train is approaching or present. Dagger Posted January 6, 2015 Share Posted January 6, 2015 Without a doubt. Cut the trees back IMMEDIATELY. Even if the driver was distracted and didn't see the stop sign and tracks at that moment a different outcome could of happened. If there had been better vision leading up the the crash, the driver or somebody on the bus might of seen the train coming soon enough to avoid the accident. Very tragic. That girl is a hero with a capital H. She saved so many kids by getting them to the emergency exit at the back of the bus disregarding her own safety. She was a brave warrior and this world would be a better place if we had more people like her. Cassidy is a prime example. Her selfless actions were above and beyond what many would do in the same situation. Redneksioux Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 Very strange nd would cap that amount. I'm pretty sure my car insurance covers that amount and I normally am driving by myself.
