Nodak78 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Lets get this started. I saw on you tube a comment from Robert Morris's HC that they are going to run the ball. Against E Kentucky they rushed 24 times for 28 yards. He said they would rush 51 times soon. Next week we will see. DL and LB should have an opportunity to show what they learned last night.
UND-FB-FAN Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 After last night's game, I'm in no position to jump to any conclusions with this game, but I'd like to think this game is just what Bubba and crew need. After San Jose State ran UND down pretty good, its time to get back to "home sweet home" and have some success.
Cratter Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Just an FYI, In general "game threads" are for the day of the game usually discussing what's actually happening during the game. 1
fightingsioux4life Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Just an FYI, In general "game threads" are for the day of the game usually discussing what's actually happening during the game. What do you have against innovation?
Cratter Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 What do you have against innovation? New trends gotta start somewhere.
Cratter Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 This game and Weber State are the most winnable. This game will be the one to judge how the rest of the season might go. 24-17 UND
Nodak78 Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 Yes game thread is for the game. putting my MBA to work with innovation and positive energy. I think we win this game and defense and special teams will score.
darell1976 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Last night Robert Morris lost to EKU 29-10. But here is some things for UND to focus on. RMU's QB Luke Brumbaugh 28/51 (yes 51 attempts) 222 yds 0 TD and 0 INT (pretty good having no picks and 51 passes). RMU's rushing 24 carries 28 yards. EKU had 4 turnovers and still won the game. http://espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?id=400558474
UND-FB-FAN Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Highlights of Eastern Kentucky vs. Robert Morris Eastern Kentucky won, 29-10. UND should definitely be able to show improvement versus RMU, if progress is coming along as expected.
zonadub Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Carter should start this game!! Like your choice of shirts, Coach.
homer Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Looking forward to the tailgate on The game on Saturday. Want to see the response after a tough week.
Nodak78 Posted September 2, 2014 Author Posted September 2, 2014 What is the injury status for the Robert Morris game?
homer Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Have they released a depth chart for the game? I'm wondering if there have been any changes.
UNDColorado Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Last SFI tweet indicated they haven't seen it either and said to expect a couple "dings." Hopefully no serious injuries...
CMSioux Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Hey Cratter got any new gizmos with your tailgating rig - we picked up an extra space -and asked to be moved away from you that cost us a little more in Champions club dues.

Yeah. Few new gizmos, including a mobile bar I built, but unfortunately I'm in between trucks (driving a car). So the trailer won't make it for the first few games. But we will be there kicking it old school hatchback "tailgating." We'll make sure to stop by. 1
UNDColorado Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Has the depth chart been released for the game yet?
jdub27 Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Booster luncheon at the Alerus at noon tomorrow: Link Bubba among others will be speaking.
UND-FB-FAN Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Robert Morris offensive lineman Jon Hill on UND: "This team is bigger but they're not as athletic, they're just kind of like trying to plug stuff up. If we can get a push on them and move them out, from an offensive line standpoint, we should be just fine because they don't pass rush very well at all," he said. Those are some interesting statements. Well, we'll just have to see how it goes I guess. 1
SWSiouxMN Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 robertmorris.rivals.com Read the Steadying Force article and go directly to the last paragraph. (since I can't quote) Bring the heat boys and shut them up.
UNDColorado Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Game notes released: https://www.nmnathletics.com//pdf9/2779619.pdf?ATCLID=209634468&SPSID=58640&SPID=6399&DB_LANG=C&DB_OEM_ID=13500 I noticed Cheatom is not on the two deep but at end. Isn't he a nose?

Isn't he a nose? Only major difference I notice is Cheatom is now in the defensive line rotation; he must have been suspended last week. Add in Shea Walker next week and increased experience for the 2 true freshmen defensive ends and the defensive line should continue improving. As for Cheatom playing end, he'll get more playing time at that spot as both Hinojosa and Shea Walker will rotate at the nose guard spot; that is, when Walker finishes serving his suspension.
