Teeder11 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 As I recall, he got some time at point. I don't think he struggled to badly. Two things stood out to me about Hooker: (1) At 6-0, the kid has hops. He attempted a dunk and missed -- but not by much. He got over the rim. (2) He has a real knack for the assist and is clever with his dishes -- not reckless. Also, the walk-ons surprisingly were not liabilities during their time on the court, especially Hobaugh. ( I think he was a walk-on transfer out of Houston Baptist.) Quote
gfhockey Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Glad to see we are winning battles vs augie! Quote
sioux24/7 Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Oh man Mitchell Hahn committed to Holy Cross. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Donte Ingram has committed to Loyola. Quote
jdub27 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Pretty certain that Crandall and Cashman both signed their NLI yesterday. Anyone know why UND hasn't put out any press releases for all the kids that signed yesterday? I know there was a handful in other sports, just wondering why nothing has been released yet. Quote

The volleyball press release just came out in the past few minutes. Maybe they are just wanting to put out one or two releases per day? Not sure. Quote

Not sure. You could be right, maybe they just haven't put them together yet. I just assumed they'd announce them all at the end of the day yesterday or this morning. Must just be taking their time. Dustin Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Here's the article with Crandall. http://www.twincities.com/sports/ci_24517693/college-signing-day-twin-cities-area-commitments Have not seen an article stating Cashman signed his letter. Quote
jdub27 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Have not seen an article stating Cashman signed his letter. The KC Star lists him as signing yesterday along with some stuff on Twitter including the picture below: Quote
UND92,96 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Here's the UND press release on the new signees: http://www.undsports...TCLID=209308166 With still three or four scholarships remaining, I have to think there will be a couple of juco transfers signed in the spring. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Good article on Ngor Barnaba http://www.postbulletin.com/sports/localsports/barnaba-a-big-guy-with-a-big-target/article_8a057cb2-d036-5a77-92b2-d74568352ff4.html#.Uo9kmDmXr94.twitter I am really hoping we can land him. We need some post presence. Hopefully we can get some JUCO players to ease replacing this senior class. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Hopefully there were some recruits in attendance. I believe Crandall was. Quote
forksandspoons Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I'm pretty sure I saw at least one, either a commit or a recruit I'm not sure. Quote
balla45 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Crandall was there. At least 4 other recruits in attendance that I saw. 2 Williston State players and 2 high school players. The players that I talked to were very impressed by the atmosphere. Quote
balla45 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 The ones that I talked to were both ND. One is a raw athletic 6'8" post. Likely a walk on. Other is a 6'2" freshman guard. Quote

There could not have been a better game for recruits to come and watch, especially if some also had offers from NDSU which seems the case with a lot of the recruits we are after. Every player likes to score and watching us put up 95 points and averaging the same makes getting these players that much easier. Jones has formed a great foundation for the future with this senior class and what they have done for this university and the old saying is build it and they will come may hold true based on what this class has done and are doing right now. sioux24/7 Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Geno Crandall can really dunk for a guard Quote
sioux24/7 Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Crandall and DeLaSalle will take on Apple Valley and Tyus Jones tonight. DeLaSalle will be playing without 5 star Reid Travis. Quote

UND92,96 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 He's gonna be a steal. Agreed. I think some were focusing too much on his stats from last year. That team was loaded, and this year he will really show what he can do. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 So 2 commits so far. 5 scholarships still available. Will we fill all those with this class? Quote
82SiouxGuy Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 So 2 commits so far. 5 scholarships still available. Will we fill all those with this class? They would like to get at least a couple of junior college transfers to even out the classes a little bit. It's hard when half of your scholarships are in 1 class. Quote
