Stecher isn't a household name, Wentz is. Toews isn't even a household name because he plays hockey. Toews makes 10.5 mil/yr and Parise makes 7.5. Luck makes 24.5 mil/yr and Brady makes a measly 20.5. For comparison the highest paid athlete in the world is Christiano Ronaldo and he makes 56 mil/yr.

Some NFL, NBA, and MLB stars make as much from endorsements as the do in salary. I'd guess Brady makes three times what Toews does in endorsements

Don't want to argue about this anymore, just super happy for yet ANOTHER Sioux hockey player went pro!

I missed the first 15 minutes of the Boston game, did Doc or McGuire talk about Zano?

Yes, lots, all good... some ND love too.  He is looking good.  Intermission will likely have info too

7 goals allowed in 3+ periods in the NHL

To be fair the Bruins are just awefull defensively, and offensively

This...^^^

BOS is flat out terrible.

Of the 5 goal....one was a softie and another was due to Zane watching the puck go thru the crease for a backdoor tap in.

Drake has a hip injury, still with big club. Stecher got sent down, but the Vancouver Sun said this about it:

The Canucks are choosing not to go with their best six defencemen, or to ride one of their youngest, and most promising, players. In Montreal, this week, Desjardins admitted that Troy Stecher has been better than Philip Larsen at even strength. But the Canucks still sent Stecher back to Utica, and continued to keep Larsen in the lineup.

Troy Stecher with his first NHL point last night. And his first NHL fight.

Wasn't much of a fight....but was cool to see Ryan Miller jump in to help out a rookie.

This is why players who leave early often regret it afterwards.

This doesnt really fall into that category to me.  Typically players want to continue to develop and go to the A to take that next step.....or players have already graduated (L Johnson).  Not sure if Thompson graduated yet however leaving UND early to go to the E is super confusing.  If a player cant crack the A out of college he shouldnt be leaving early. There's obviously more to work on.
