I knew someone would bring up number of games played as "proof" that leaving after one year didn't hurt Jost.

Quality is just as important as quantity. I think he would have been with the Avalanche for years as a fixture in their lineup if he had one more year of seasoning and development at North Dakota.

I agree. He’s a bottom six player. Had he stayed for another year of development, he’d be a top six player through those 500 games..

Jost and Smith weren't even close talent wise while at UND yet there they both are. One surpassed his college skill set in the NHL.

He wants to stay at UND and have his name up on the list of NHL alums.

Would love to see UND beat BU in the regional finals this year and end both Boisvert and OMac's college careers.
