where is any of the old "brick and mortar" from the old memorial stadium?

The all-weather “Hawkway” between "Hsylop" at Memorial Village and the "Fritz" Pollard Athletic Center will be built out by the old brick from Memorial Stadium (I think).

I guess I meant more the larger "concrete" thingys they had sitting on the corner when they were tearing down the old stadium.

New softball field opens this Saturday. Looking good!

This is a great addition to our community.  Sounds like the HS State Softball tournament will be hosted there next spring.  It won't hardly cost the State anything as the Albrecht's wanted to make sure this would benefit both the university and the youth.  I was told what the state had to pay NDSU in 2023 to host the State Tournament at their facility.  It was ridiculous and should never be hosted there again.

Would be cool if UND got a decible meter and somehow connected it to the scoreboard.  Like a pitch speed board in baseball for example... always displayed.  Would maybe help to encourage crowd noise.

Chaves says the Pollard Center addition will be done in January. One thing I didn’t know is that it has a lower level that is level with the field inside the Pollard, so it’s even bigger than it looks from the outside. They’ll also be able to walk right out to the outdoor practice field on the ground level.
