19 was crying to the officials the whole time he was waiting in the handshake line:D

Gotta say if the shoe was on the other foot, I would be upset too. The way the game was being called, we should have never had our last power play, and since it was, Miami should have got that call in overtime.

Pulling hard for CC next week. Want a full clinch next weekend and lock up that 1 seed and home ice throughout.

hard for me to pull for CC. Just won't feel right, but I'll see what I can do. ;)

Roses are red, violets are blue. We beat MU in regulation and OT too

That’s Twamley,  not Merrifield.  😁

So many stupid losses this year 😫

You really are pathetic.  We play in the toughest conference, but you don’t expect any losses. What next, should they bench Špunar now because he gave up 3 goals?

I think the embellishment when Young bumped the guy after the play put that thought on the refs' minds.  He went down easy on the play in OT. They also missed the most obvious goalie contact by Miami earlier in the game.

I like this Miami team

If it wasn’t for UND completely taking the second period off they averaged like 4 shots a period over the other 5. Better than last year but nothing special.

I don't expect to lose games where we outshoot teams by double and luckily we didn't tonight.  Also I never once blamed Spunar.

Speaking of which:   It still will be and should be Spunar’s net, but that goalie change by Jax was inspired.   The boys had grown a little complacent thinking Spunar (and the D) would keep Miami off the board.   The change gave them a dose of urgency to win by putting pucks in the net.

As if Miami had nothing/zero to do with it? :silly:

Some truth to that, but think what they do with the limited talent they have (skaters) compared to BU.

Is the 9th place team eliminated or do the last 2 teams have a play in  game for conference tourney

I don't want to see them again this year.

Agreed...I don't care for all the clutching and grabbing but they get the absolute most out of what they have.  Their goalie was very good again tonight; it took a serious shooting gallery to get it by him.  I was surprised by Wiebe's goal; their goalie pretty much stayed in the net and didn't try to cut down the angle at all.  Good for the Sioux I guess.
