The reality is, we were out played for three periods by a team that a lot of people continue to sleep on. Check my post history. We should be thanking the Gophers for sweeping last weekend…. I don’t think people are sleeping on UMD. They’re still top 10 despite losing four in a row. But they’ll only go as far as their top line will take them. 2 Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted yesterday at 03:37 AM Posted yesterday at 03:37 AM And Duluth wins it in OT with 6.2 seconds left. God damn. Quote

nascar99 Posted yesterday at 03:38 AM Posted yesterday at 03:38 AM Embarrassing PP, embarrassed again in OT like the Colorado College game Quote

1972 Posted yesterday at 03:38 AM Posted yesterday at 03:38 AM We never deserved to be in OT to begin with 3 Quote
Oxbow6 Posted yesterday at 03:39 AM Posted yesterday at 03:39 AM UMD with an OT goal with 6 seconds left. Cue @MafiaMan..... 1 Quote
Sioux90 Posted yesterday at 03:39 AM Posted yesterday at 03:39 AM Welp. That was definitely something. Quote
beastandco Posted yesterday at 03:39 AM Posted yesterday at 03:39 AM I don’t love having Wiebe out there for a 4 on 3 PP with Liv. It’s just not his game with that much space 1 Quote
TwamleyShuffle Posted yesterday at 03:40 AM Posted yesterday at 03:40 AM At least we didn’t lose in regulation? WMU lost in OT, we lost in OT. We retain our lead in the NCHC 1 Quote
Kevin G Posted yesterday at 03:40 AM Posted yesterday at 03:40 AM Did Zellers see the ice during the OT PP? Quote

SiouxFanatic Posted yesterday at 03:40 AM Posted yesterday at 03:40 AM This team doesn’t fare well in 3v3 OT. Quote
Username Taken Posted yesterday at 03:40 AM Posted yesterday at 03:40 AM Gotta bring it for more than 10 mins no matter who you play. One of the worst games UND has played all season and still come away with a point is the bright side. Maybe some bye week rust. 2 Quote

crb1 Posted yesterday at 03:41 AM Posted yesterday at 03:41 AM You can’t score on a damn 4 on 3 with possession in the zone for most of it and well you deserve to lose that one. 1 Quote
rochsioux Posted yesterday at 03:41 AM Posted yesterday at 03:41 AM Not sure UND will be able to play tomorrow, they have to be totally exhausted with the effort they gave tonight. Quote
Emerald joker Posted yesterday at 03:41 AM Posted yesterday at 03:41 AM 6.2 seconds, reminds me of 6.7 against Minnesota. Quote

Sucks to lose like that but sucks for Duluth in a sense too as I heard we didn’t play all that well and they blew a regulation win and we managed to get a point out of it. And correct me if I’m wrong but that doesn’t count as a full loss in OT, right? 2 Quote
SiouxScore Posted yesterday at 03:42 AM Posted yesterday at 03:42 AM Just not crisp in any area tonight, really out of sync. Spunar made some big saves but the winner and the first goal are ones he’s gonna stop more often than not. PP had some solid looks in OT but not having Zellers out at all is certainly a choice. Also pairing Verhoeff with Liv to have one timers from both side up top would’ve been how I went instead of Wiebe. Expect to see a lot more urgency and connection tomorrow night. Quote
