Saw on X that OL Jonah Reiling is in the portal. Appears to be 3 total OL in the portal now (Tyszka & Darling), with Seth Anderson being the only senior. Did someone mention that Carter Gorder is done with football? That would make 5 with 5 freshmen coming in the fall.

Miller's list of UND players in the portal: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/college/und-football-transfer-portal-tracker-for-2025-26

Appears the number is up to 13 + Gorder and Hudson Flom being done with football.

Apart from the obvious (Seidl, Olagbaju, Bluiett, Fleming) are we overly concerned about any of these losses or are most of these due to the fact that the staff will want to continue bringing in more and better talent. A little disappointing to see so many big boys leaving the OL group, but were any of these guys going to see the field? Not asking if they would start, but from a depth perspective? OL doesn't typically seem much in the way of transfers in, so not sure how that is shaping up for next year.

Schmitt seemed to make a lot happen, without a lot of time last year. That being said, it would be nice to start seeing some more names committing via the portal. I'm sure I'm just being impatient, but looking forward to seeing what happens.

Our OL group is deep. Tough to crack the 2 deep. He probably also saw Cariveau solidify himself as a 4 year guy and that his only option is the other guard spot or to be a backup at best. It’s a good problem to have. The cream rises.

Nothing against those O-Lineman that have entered the portal, but it's a numbers game. How it's appeared to play out with the O-Line this offseason is ideal.

Think I saw today that the number of guys in the portal is up to 3,300 now. If that's correct its a crazy number but plenty of options for Schmidt to choose from!

Iowa State has 17 guys left, just one starter.

Old HC -> Penn State
New HC -> one year at Wassu and Jackbun-land before that for two seasons

Someone give me a brief synopsis of this kid.

Won championship this year at Iowa Western, 6'2"-180 lbs, played CB-Nickel-Safety from what little film I watched.

Wasn't Dom bragging before Christmas how NDSU was keeping all their guys and they were gonna 'run it back'?

I haven’t watched anything but with the position versatility could he replace Wiltshire? Still hoping we can get another year out him.

I don't think anyone was really expecting him to leave, but good to see it confirmed that Kaminski will be back.  We saw in the first half of the season what he can do.  Just need to carry it through to January.

That was my first thought was Wilshire's replacement. Is Wilshire one that is waiting to hear if he can play another year?

Learn from the second half of this year and continue  to develop. There are some things he can clean up with accuracy and decision making. Get him a couple of true weapons at WR too.

Had a big offer. Schmidt did a hell of job to keep him.

Heard they only saw film from the first half of the season

They aren’t going to offer without doing their due diligence.
