Time for UND’s first road win of the season. Northern Iowa is 2-2 to start the season. AJS Posted yesterday at 08:42 PM Posted yesterday at 08:42 PM UNI appears to be a below average MVFC team. Like that they have them on the road to start off conference play. Keep things on schedule for this new era. Would like to see a two-score win. 4 Quote
Popular Post Big Green Posted yesterday at 09:12 PM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 09:12 PM This game is huge. Need to get the 1st road win of the year and 1st since 2023. If this is not a win, it could be the same old same old on the road. We have played 2 good games on the road, but come up short on both of them. This needs to be a win if we are going to make a splash this year. 4 1 Quote
Kab Posted yesterday at 09:39 PM Posted yesterday at 09:39 PM This would be a loss if bubba was coaching Quote
forksandspoons Posted yesterday at 09:45 PM Posted yesterday at 09:45 PM Weird things happen in domes. Don’t need to overthink, just find a way to get the run game going and stick to it Quote
Hawkster Posted yesterday at 10:06 PM Posted yesterday at 10:06 PM Remember, UNI lost to Utah Tech. I expect to win bigly. 1 Quote
SIOUXFAN97 Posted yesterday at 10:13 PM Posted yesterday at 10:13 PM i want to see the o-line move the line of scrimmage forward at will....jerry make a higher % of completions....and a new kicker. 1 Quote

fightingsioux4life Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I think the road game drought is as much mental as it is anything else. Win this game (no matter how ugly) and it will be a big confidence booster for the program. Quote

If we stumble here, then the 'nothings changed' chants are warranted. Our team has shown up ready to play both of the previous two road games.....I expect the same this weekend, especially coming off a Bye. Lets get off to a fast start on Saturday. Quote

Well be prepared to be disappointed on the new kicker. If they were going to see what a new kicker could do, they would have tried that in the previous game in a blowout. They aren't going to do it on the road, unless he misses two easy ones to start the game or something. I'm hoping that one game was just a blip and he will be good from here on out. His kicks look solid the last game, I hope that continues. 1 1 Quote
gfhockey Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago It’s the perfect trap game. Coming off two blow outs and two moral victories 1 Quote

geaux_sioux Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Will be interesting to see how Schmidt gets the guys ready for what could be a very underwhelming road environment. The first two road games were in packed stadiums. It was nice to see our guys step up in those big moments. Sure they failed down the stretch in each, but they showed more than they ever did under Bubba. Now I need to see them generate their own juice and pound a struggling program. 2 2 Quote
siouxfan512 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago How's our injury report this week? Are we getting some people back? I thought I hear that all TEs should be back for UNI. Has Hromadka been hurt? Or are they just not playing him to retain redshirt eligibility? I just haven't heard his name called or read anything. Quote

A road win is required here, but I'd like to see them go in and absolutely piss pound UNI. Leave no doubt and keep climbing the polls. After two close losses, we can't squeak by here. I think this needs to be a bit of a show of dominance to set the tone for Valley play and for road games going forward. 1 2 Quote

Homecoming for UNI, so it should be a good environment. 1 Quote
Hawkster Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago When was the last time UND won a game on the road? I'm too lazy to look it up. 1 Quote
