NDSU IS A BETTER HEAD COACHING JOB THAN....(insert FBS schools that will pay their head coach millions.....)

Tim P was never staying more than a few years.  The next guy will have success too, just the way they are built.

Besides the 00s in the bank account it's not an incorrect statement.  I'd say that about Vigen going there as well.

Polasek makes 330k a year, 400k once you include incentives. Thats not even in the ballpark of what he would make if he took the Oregon State or Colorado State job. Like not even remotely close.

That's basically what I was referring too....someone is going to Oregon State or Colorado State to get hired just to get their asses fired.  But they'll get fired with a bunch of zeros in their bank account.

Football wise....good luck, and I'll say the same for Schmidt and UND when his name gets called in a few years.

Not impossible. Eck is having a great year at New Mexico in year 1. New Mexico hasn’t had a good year since 2016…

And the MVFC teams that made the playoffs could give them all they could handle.  But ECK has himself a nice bank roll compared to Polacek, Vigen and Schmidt.....I mean it can definitely happen anywhere (INDIANA) for anyone, but good luck at Oregon State or Colorado State.  Second fiddle in your own back yard doesn't help.

Michigan State's head coach came directly from Oregon State.
Mike Riley parlayed the position into the Nebraska head coaching gig.

CSU had a guy who straight to Florida from there.

Can definitely get a call from the big boys if you can have some success.

I'm guessing, by the fact that he stayed, they're going FBS in the near future.  Makes sense that he would turn down bigger jobs with a promise to that effect.
