I Ranger Posted Thursday at 10:19 PM Posted Thursday at 10:19 PM Good interview with Jax on Chiclets Game Notes. He starts around the 46 minute mark. 1 2 Quote
.357 Posted yesterday at 04:05 AM Posted yesterday at 04:05 AM On tonight's TTD, #8 was zipping through some drills at a fast pace this week & didn't seem like he was visibly injured. Contrasted with what Jackson said yesterday that it didn't sound like he would be ready for regionals. He didn't appear injured in the least & wasn't wearing a non-contact jersey. Quote

The last segment of this TTD at the 6:40 mark said 'Tuesday, March 17th' with the team going over video & then showing a few minutes of practice immediately afterward, which showed #8 skating around. The UMD game was March 14th. Quote

Jax said that another school offered Verhoeff about 3x what we offered for NIL. But KV still wanted to come to UND which says a lot about the program and maybe even more about the character of KV. Loved the whole interview with Jax but that was a beauty of a nugget. 3 6 Quote

tnt Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago A lot of people thought Jackson Blake was making a mistake leaving early too, so you never know whose game is more suited to the NHL level. I never thought Oliver Moore would see time with Chicago this year. Quote

brianvf Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Spoons looking to rebound entering the NCAA tourney: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/jan-spunar-looks-to-reset-for-ncaa-tournament Quote So, when he was asked how he can rebound from allowing five goals in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference semifinal game to Minnesota Duluth and be at his best for the NCAA tournament, he got right to the point. "I just know what I'm supposed to do in a game," Špunar said. "Be better than their goalie." I like that he is planning on playing at least four games. Quote "It's going to be four tough games," Špunar said. "Everybody's playing for their season. I think the team energy is great right now, so we're all excited." 3 Quote

Good luck to Sacha in his pro career but I get the feeling it is going to look a lot like Tyson Josts I just did a little checking. Jost was the 10th overall pick and is currently 28 years old. The average 10th overall pick since 1975 played 550 games in the NHL and the median being around 400 games (Selanne and Corey Perry and the best 2). Oddly enough, Jost has played exactly 550 games. His points, 160, are in about the 40% percentile so he'll likely end up around average for a 10th overall pick. He's no hall of famer, but he's nowhere near a bust. 3 Quote

On the one hand, this is an awesome testament to the program’s prestige and reputation. On the other, you never want to hear you’re being outbid by that much. Kids like Keaton will be the exception, not the rule 1 Quote

Was right on Zach Parise, Tyson Jost, Jason Gregoire, Jasper Weatherby and others though. 1 Quote
