They only interviewed seniors at yesterday’s weekly press conference and Monty was one of them. He spoke as if he’s a senior soon to be done…

Perhaps because he might be transferring to CC next season to play with his brother

I know it's senior weekend but Montgomery on defense? Come on Brad.

If Montgomery goes -1 at any point tonight, hopefully we see Komzak taking his shifts from then on.

Strinden has been one of our best forwards lately, 8 points in the last 10 games. He’s been great at even strength. Hopefully schmaltz and Swanson don’t  slow him down. There’s a remarkable difference in foot speed between him and the other too.

I really hope Littler is a little dinged up because him being a healthy scratch would be insane

Swanson has an assist on 4 of Strindens 8 goals.

A coach's first priority is to put the best product on the ice, regardless of where a player is from, how much he likes his personality, how buddy buddy he is with a player's dad or if he's a senior. Loyalty to the team before any individual players. Simple concept. Have a hard time believing that Montgomery is more qualified to play defense than Komzak. It's these kinds of line-up decisions based on emotions rather than common sense that result in costly losses.

Good call on Mac and that combo. I’m more worried about Schmaltz bringing his offensive impotence to a line with a guy who is on fire as of late

Schmaltz has been contributing too of late. 2 goals and 2 assists in the last 3 games.
