brianvf Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Wow that's a lot of college hockey head coaching vacancies right now. Some very high profile ones too.
cberkas Posted April 13, 2022 Author Posted April 13, 2022 I see UMass getting a new coach when he takes the BC job.

brianvf Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Meanwhile, Michigan's entire team (almost) has either signed NHL deals or entered the portal...and who knows what's happening with their coaching situation. They've got a stacked freshman class coming in, but next season might be interesting for them. Any way to flip Fantilli?

Blackheart Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Just now, NDinCO said: I wonder if Jackson will leave. If he ever wants to be a head coach, now would be the time. Then come back around the time B-Rads contract is up.

Word is that the UConn head coach might be the heir apparent to York, and that he is York’s guy. I imagine he would try bring BCHL star Matthew Wood with him, but if I were Berry, I would try see if he would flip to UND instead.
cberkas Posted April 14, 2022 Author Posted April 14, 2022 I wouldn't be surprised if Michigan has finished the investigation and instead of firing Mel and having to release the findings, they are just going to let the contract run out. Win-Win for Michigan

cberkas Posted April 14, 2022 Author Posted April 14, 2022 I don't think he'd ever go to that dumpster fire
AJS Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Duluth electing to bring back Laderoute (13 points) and Jacques (11 points) for their 5th years.

I get the impression that the admin will do everything they can to hang on to him.

stoneySIOUX Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 So, adding Lindenwood, we're up to 61 teams. LOVE IT

A lot of teams could see a step back next season...UM, WMU, SCSU, etc...all of them returned so much but didn't take advantage. Hopefully UND can get some good results this upcoming season with all they return. It's their turn to take advantage of all the teams that got depleted this offseason. 3

Very excited about it.
