Kab Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Coach hasn’t talked to him about this before? Quote

bcblues Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Yes, completely unnecessary. Cornell was offside. Quote
cowboys5xsbs Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Whelp if we lose this game we are heading to disaster territory Quote
cowboys5xsbs Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 This team takes the stupidest penalties I swear 1 Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 If only Senden cashes in the penalty shot...... Quote
LynahFaithful Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Good first period; Shane's stop on the penalty shot was the key. Our "bend don't break" (NCHC.tv announcer's description) seems to be holding the dam. NoDak has such high skill players I would like to see us getting more pressure or at least being a little calmer on transition, but so far this is The Plan. Really good series; I will love seeing these teams play at Lynah next year (Plague permitting). At least we are playing with confidence. If we can get into the NC$$, that will really help our 14 underclassmen. But I wouldn't be at all surprised to see NoDak lay a 4-spot on the board next period. 1 Quote
Godsmack Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Prior to that last penalty, it looked like we had difficulty getting the puck past the red line and generating much offensively. Quote

Cornell playing typical Cornell hockey…simple, disciplined hockey. Definitely taking advantage of the opportunities given to them. I followed Cornell closely all those years in the early and mid 2000’s when they’d make the national tournament. Stout defensively, good goaltending, and big heavy forwards. 1 Quote
Username Taken Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Cornell is a frustrating team. They have very little offensive zone time and don’t generate many chances but still put up goals. Good around the net with the big bodies. UND has looked terrible since the break. 1 Quote

We are fortunate our new players fit in well, I was expecting some chaos this season early but it never happened. I've followed NoDak since the Hrkac Circus (I'm old). Always a pleasure to watch them play. 3 Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Not that much space between the best and middle in college hockey. Need to bring it every night. Won’t win by name on the jersey Quote
