forksandspoons Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 How is the snap low every other time? That slows schuster a lot 1 Quote

Touchdowns on the first three drives, then second and shorts that turn to punts on the next two. Could have put the nail in the coffin in the first half. Ha you can’t put a nail in the coffin against an offense like this! If we can’t stop their offense then the game turns into a shootout, we cannot win those high scoring games the game isn’t over until the time runs out in the 4th Quote
forksandspoons Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Gassed the whole game but saved 5 or 6 timeouts?? 1 Quote
siouxfan512 Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Horrible job, after a great start. Quote

In my personal, possibly delusional opinion, we let them back in the game. They could've taken some shots on second and short, but choose not to and USU was ready for the run. It's not embarrassing to lose to USU. It's embarrassing to lose the way they did to USU. Again that's just my opinion, but I think they left a win on the table. Quote
siouxfan512 Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Is there a reason we never took a shot on 2nd and short? Quote
Sioux94 Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 The only saving grace in this one is.....that we don't have a kicker with the last name Nimrod. 1 Quote
Bin Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 What the heck. Very excited to watch that first half. R egardless, still traveling back from Michigan for the Moo U game. I was at the 2003 game at the Alerus and more than a few at Memorial since 1975. Can't wait to cheer for the team and have a drink or two at Bonzer's. 2 Quote

Sioux94 Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 We punch it in on that last drive we lose by 10. Now we lose by 24.......$&#&#&#(Y%Y Quote

We also didn't really blow ISU out of the water last week Schuster had a career high in passing yards. Did Utah State blow us out? Well until that QB run TD……. I guess 24>21 The only thing I’m concerned about is Jaxon Turner’s injury. We have a good team maybe better than spring Quote

Because we don’t do that and haven’t done that since Mussman was here. We do a good job in the possession passing game, but adjustments of stacking the box and daring us to connect long are going to kill us unless we find a way to have a threat at least 15 to 20 yards downfield once in a while… 1 Quote
Sioux>Bison Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 We lost by 24 doesn’t represent how well we played in the first quarter. Fix that and we are a hard team to beat. It was a 3 point game at the beginning of the 4th….. 1 Quote
Cratter Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Game would have been alright had they not got our hopes up so high after the first quarter. Quote
Siouxperfan7 Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 They stopped the run. Simple as that. And our corners could not cover anyone. Quote
Sioux94 Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 We have to find a way to beat SU this year. Quote

We started to have poor execution and couldn’t keep the pressure on. The best we could have done is execute what we do well. O lone got worn down. Quote
Sioux94 Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Hope Turner's injury isn't serious. Will suck to lose two starting LB's in two weeks. Quote
