North Dakota is one of fewer than 20 states with no statewide mask mandate and many counties have resisted restrictions. But as the state reaches a boiling point, health officials say they hope people now will start to take the virus more seriously. 117 covid patients is hardly filling up ND hospitals. His entire Presidency is predicated on exploiting existing divisions within our country......and then everyone else follows suit, even on the left. Hayduke1
This is one reason, among many, that Americans believe that Dear Leader and his cult are bat$hit crazy. The bat$hit crazy plank in your party's platform ain't gonna work. https://www.politico.com/news/2020/10/07/trump-demands-barr-arrest-foes-427389 ‘Where are all of the arrests?’: Trump demands Barr lock up his foes The day-long run of tweets and retweets marked the most frantic stretch of Trump’s public activity since he left Walter Reed. Donald Trump mounted an overnight Twitter blitz demanding to jail his political enemies and call out allies he says are failing to arrest his rivals swiftly enough. Trump twice amplified supporters’ criticisms of Attorney General William Barr, including one featuring a meme calling on him to “arrest somebody!” He wondered aloud why his rivals, like President Barack Obama, Democratic nominee Joe Biden and former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton hadn’t been imprisoned for launching a “coup” against his administration." "Where are all of the arrests?” Trump said, after several dozen tweets on the subject over the past 24 hours. “Can you imagine if the roles were reversed? Long term sentences would have started two years ago. Shameful!” By early afternoon, Trump was letting loose his frustrations in an all-caps missive that seemed aimed at nobody in particular. “DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, THE BIGGEST OF ALL POLITICAL SCANDALS (IN HISTORY)!!! BIDEN, OBAMA AND CROOKED HILLARY LED THIS TREASONOUS PLOT!!! BIDEN SHOULDN’T BE ALLOWED TO RUN - GOT CAUGHT!!!” Trump tweeted.

They don’t have near the population we have, nor do they have nearly the diversity in thought we have. New Zealand and Australian are completely isolated from the rest of the world. Cannot even begin to compare them. I believe it to be disingenuous on Shapiro’s part and your part to suggest that Trump could’ve responded in a way that wouldn’t have been spun negative. They have like one international airport and basically put their people on lockdown. Finland idk much about other than they are a pseudo-Scandinavian country with a tiny population. Germany is probably the only demographically "similar" country but im pretty sure all these countries have significantly stronger federal governments and compliant citizens in place than we do. Trump's softer tone on Fridays(?) video was politically magnificent. If he continued with that narrative he would've opened up himself to more moderates without losing his base voters. That scared the crap out of some of my more liberal friends. Yet, in the following days, Trump couldn't get out of his own way. The circus returned. Trump frothing at the mouth as usual. Shapiro isn't being disingenuous, he's 100% correct. Trump had it on a tee-ball stand and struck out.
