Ok, but that is also only their second loss all season. Let’s not overreact either.

This is a very good team that played poorly tonight. Last weekend was not great either. Need to figure out how to be better tomorrow. Starting in net.

Yep. It was bound to happen. Didn’t like the way UND played in large stretches of play and UNO capitalized and took advantage of the opportunities they got.

Hopefully they learn from tonight and rebound tomorrow.

That’s a bad call by Berry, given the Faceoff situation all night.

And the inability to do anything with the man advantage. I feel that killed any moment we may have had the last couple minutes. Not a good call.

Wow. Rotten start to the second half of the season, last week considered.  We need to do better.  What is this, the Reverse Hakstol Curse?

Yeah, that sweep sucked

UND played half a game tonight.  And, the results were obvious.

Pathetic performance.  6 goals on (13?) shots?  Are you F'n kidding me?  Never heard of such a S-show in my life!

Agreed.  They can't play that way and back into a win.  Good teams the rest of the way, better buckle down.

Omaha wanted this one more.  You could see it on the forecheck, the backcheck and in the circles.  When you are playing a superior opponent and you get some puck luck, just play hard and disrupt.  It works.  It frustrates the hell out of top end players who want flow and hockey.  That said Omaha has some good speed.  They were hard on pucks and hard on bodies.  This is exactly what this team needed right now.  Get beat for not playing hard hockey.

Still curious why Thome didn’t get a start last week. Given Scheel’s inconsistent performance the past three games, does Berry give Thome the start tomorrow or does he throw Scheel right back in there, help rebuild his confidence.

Another lackluster performance just like last weekend except this team it results in the loss. Definitely disappointing first off just because of the lack of energy and execution the guys played with, second because you would've hoped they would've learned from last weekend, and third because Omaha isn't a very good team. Guys really seemed to lack some urgency with the puck tonight. Have to make more of the tough plays didn't seem like we won a whole lot of board battles all night. Scheel wasn't sharp tonight. Lot of clean faceoff losses which is very uncharacteristic. Despite the poor play I thought the guys still generated some solid opportunities but just not as many as usual and when that happens you have to convert on what you get and that didn't happen tonight. Michaud hit a post, Peski hit a post, Adams had a great chance he put into the stomach, etc. I'd expect a nice sharp response from the guys tomorrow night.
