Bubba needs to be gone. Would you agree?  I’m more vocal than most . Have been and always will be but I will never give up on und football.  I’m an extreme hard core fan.  But I’m also they’re biggest critic. I will continue my negative bubba posts until he is gone . I did the same with Rudy for 3-4 years.

You gave up on UND football last week.

After stumbling and bumbling through the first half with a 10 point lead and the start we had to the second half which should have allowed us to dictate to UNC how we would allow them to move the ball on offense the fact we held on to win by 7 instead of winning by 31 or more is puzzling.

This game had 59-28 or 66-28 written all over it.

Totally.  Cam's long run can with 13 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.  The offense never scored after that.

Under Bubba we have seen a lot of trouble putting teams to sleep when we have the opportunity. They hit on that huge pass right after we had them nearly doubled up and we puckered our way to the finish.

So what if we win that playoff game?   Do just sit everyone?

So you're saying that because he would only be available for 1 playoff game at most, it made sense to play him yesterday in what was expected to be an easy win, instead of saving him for the playoff game.  Brilliant.

Dumbest fucking thing I’ve ever seen. To hand the ball off? GTFOH.

Any chance Tom or Brad asks the tough question to Bubba WTH was that all about?

Who knows. What we all know though, is that if NDSU had the same exact situation they would have planned ahead and had Grover take the snap. It’s little things like that which add up over time and lead to success.

I sure hope so, I'd like to hear him answer that.  May not really matter, but to me shows inability to make the proper quick decision in heat of the moment.  Kett went out because his helmet came off, he knew it was for only one play.

Not just NDSU.....99 out of 100 coaches would have put Boltmann or Grover in right there to hand the ball off.  I can't even wrap my brain around the decision to put Shuster in for one play.

IMO that is just a microcosm of Bubba's tenure at UND. Very little makes sense. Very little rational. Very little consistency.

Schuster's played in now 2 of 4 allowable games.

Skokna has played in 4. Gee was unavailable yesterday. That probably answers that; and, I'll predict Skokna won't dress the rest of the year.

My question on RBs is: Has anyone seen Austin Gordon?

Agree that Skokna was an option because Gee was out, but with McKinney back, Gordon available, and a suposed weak team on the schedule, it was pure coaching incompetence to play Skokna early in the game.  The Schuster situation was no better.  Others have said it - you wouldn't see this at other schools.

What if Skonka wanted to play?   The kids have a say in this too.

Who says the plan is to redshirt him? Perhaps the only reason he didn’t play from day 1 is he was still coming back from his HS knee injury?

At this point in the season, why wouldn't you redshirt him?  Let's say he plays next week and we don't make the playoffs.  Can anyone tell me playing him was a reasonable decision made with forethought?

I wouldn’t play him next week but if we make the playoffs I would.

I still think they shouldn’t have played him yesterday, maybe he wanted to play but still coach makes the call to put him in or not. I would have sat him and had him available for the first playoff game if we make it.

I think they’ve likely decided already to pull his shirt and may very well play next week. If they weren’t going to pull his shirt I don’t think he would have played yesterday. I mean why wouldn’t you save him for a potential playoff game if you are planning on shutting him down after four games.  Bet he plays this week. I think coaches are thinking we get a playoff game and are planning on using him in playoffs so will also play him this next week.

Bubba was in playoff mode yesterday. His cheeks were extra rosy

Good to know. Thought it was just a Rosacea flare up.
