.357 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 What does a tie against a #2 team do for our pairwise? Quote

Pinto is ridiculously good. One thing to watch as the season progresses: Mismash looks like he gives a rip this year (so far). Couldn’t say that last year. Could be the difference maker. 1 Quote

crb1 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 I thought our goalie and d would play a little better tonight. Didn’t quite expect the offense. Quote

Oldguy Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 My impressions on this game were mixed. I thought defensive positioning was pretty good, especially as the game went on. GT was not great tonight. Beat cleanly from far out or bad angles a few times. That needs to be better. Ultimately, a tie on Friday on the road is not bad. But, that puts more pressure on Saturday. FGHTNSX Hawkey14 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Didn't follow the game much, but a tie that could've been in a win, on the road, against a very good team doesn't seem like too bad a deal. Long as we get the win tomorrow. Quote
Wilbur Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Didn't get the best game from our goalie on the road and we tied #2 in the nation. Turn the page, build on that one, get ready for Saturday. Quote

Sodbuster Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Okay. Watched on FloHockey.....quality was actually pretty good. Announcers were very pro Mankato, but that was expected. Expensive....yes. But much better than watching reruns of the 250 reality shows om TV. 1 Quote

Boogieman Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Radio moves to 100.3 FM in GF tomorrow night, as Bubba’s squad has precedence on 96.1 Quote

fsioux Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Didn't see the game but sounds like we really struggled with faceoffs. That is concerning going forward. Quote

tnt Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Are we really looking at pairwise this early? Quote

When you have a tie in the start of a two game series, it boils down to the last game. Quote

.357 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Thanks for the clarification, guys, on the pairwise. Quote

We won’t even have a good idea on conference versus conference records for quite a while, which has a huge impact on the pairwise. Just win and hope the rest of the league performs up to expectations. Quote
UND1983 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Have they always shook hands on Friday night? Thought it was a Saturday thing....? Quote
