Some of that granular data will be recorded dashboards in the coming weeks. I will keep an eye out. EDIT: With the surge in new freshmen (+428/ +29%) for fist day 2024, I would imagine a nice bump on FTE. UND’s first day headcount is already 550 students more than census day official count last year. This year’s first day head count would rank 5th highest all time at UND. Highest was 15,250 in 2012, if memory serves. 2 Quote

nodak651 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I think this (below) would be the comparable data from last year. (from fall NDUS Fall 2023 Enrollment Report) Correct me if wrong. 1 Quote
AJS Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Impressive increase in FTE’s & Scheduled Credit Hours. 2 Quote
UNDBIZ Posted September 24 Posted September 24 FTE (Credit Hours) = $$$ Headcount is mostly just for headlines. 2 Quote
UNDBIZ Posted September 24 Posted September 24 UND's highest FTE enrollment since 2017 (FTE enrollment peaked in 2012 at 12,729). Quote

Do you happen to know who pays it and how much goes towards the athletic department? It's something like full time on campus students isn't it? Quote

It may have changed, but I think it's per credit, up to 12 or 13 credits, and it doesn't matter if you're on campus or online. Or at least that's how it used to be for UND. Quote

UNDBIZ Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Looked it up on UND's website, athletics are included in the "student fees" which are $71.43 per credit up to 12 credits. Those are also paying for the new Union, Wellness Center, health services, technology, etc. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 When does on campus housing become a shortage and kids got holed up in the Road King like in the fall of '87 Quote

nodak651 Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Found an awesome website that illustrates enrollment/admissions/demographics information in some unique ways. Some of you may find it interesting. https://www.highereddatastories.com/?m=1 1 Quote
SIOUXFAN97 Posted September 25 Posted September 25 was this 15k enrollment very very unexpected...hence the housing shortage or is something that unis or college face all the time...balance between having lots of empty dorms v not enough at any given time? Quote

forksandspoons Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Great job by the UND administration! Keep the momentum going upward! The amazing looking campus, scholarship opportunities, and programs offered set UND apart in the region. 1 1 Quote
AJS Posted September 25 Posted September 25 This is the first year, I've felt there's real substance to UND's numbers. Especially when comparing to NDSU, prior years the difference was essentially smoke and mirrors. It still is to some degree, but much less Fall 2024. Fall 2024 Headcount: UND +25.6% FTE: UND +12.3% SCH: UND +10.3% Fall 2023 Headcount: UND +18.5% FTE: UND +3.8% SCH: UND +1.2% Like @forksandspoons said, keep the momentum going! 1 2 Quote
